I was very excited when we finally bought the soundbar because I was looking forward to listening to movies with real sound. Imagine my dismay when I tried to hook up the soundbar and found that their were 2 different types of audio cables in use. The samsung uses optical cable and the Phillips uses SPDIF (Sony-Phillips Digital Interfonnect Format).
