Avenir 69-01-004 Review: Avenir Metro III Panniers (2, 165 Cubic Inches Total). The Avenir Metro Pannier is perfect for commuting. The top pack is big enough for my laptop and the side bags work for holding everything else. The reflective stripes are a big bonus also. The only complaint I have is Amazon's packaging for shipment. The pannier came in a LARGE box. Why is a non-breakable, 1/4" thick pannier being shipped in a box large enough for a small refrigerator with enough packaging material to insulate a house? 33 ...
